Fallout 3's Mothership Zeta DLC Lands August 3rd [Now With Screens] Written Tuesday, July 14, 2009 by Jason Debelyak Bethesda has announced that the fifth and final chapter of DLC for Fallout 3, Mothership Zeta, will be available to download on August 3rd. In this brand new content, players will leave the Capital Wasteland to battle somewhere extremely new to the Fallout 3 universe -- outer space! Defying hostile alien abductors, players will have to fight their way off of the massive spaceship. The new content will also feature brand new weapons, including the Alien Atomizer, Alien Disintegrator, and Drone Cannon, as well as new outfits and characters. The new content will be available for 800 MSP ($10) when it launches on August 3rd for Xbox Live and Games for Windows Live. Playstation 3 owners will see the DLC at a later date.     | |

I don't know if I can stand another Pitt-like day one. 2) Thanks Bethseda for supporting your games with not only DLC, but patches as well. RPG's and their devs could learn a thing or two from you folks, *cough*Fable*cough. 3) To everyone wanting them to raise the level cap, why?? A Lvl.30 properly planned out maxes all stats and gives you nines across the board on core values. So what's the gain? 4)Lastly I want to say isn't it nice for a company to come out and give everyone not only a heads up that there will be no more DLC for their title, but if you have a virtue known as patience how you can score it for cheaper? HAVE A NICE DAY! |

They're 300 points away from the 1750 threshold and it's not like releasing these DLC(s) isn't netting them a shit ton of money. Why not make this Mothership Zeta, which costs 800 points, be another 100GS expansion, then, the coup de grace, release a 1200/1600 priced one, much like how Oblivion - Shivering Isles was. 200GS, and a shit load of content. I would shell out the 1200 and maybe the 1600, though I would wait to see if the price was justified. What I'm getting at though is, how the hell are they just going to stop at 1550 (presumably)? I love Fallout; best game I've ever played. Stopping at Mothership Zeta would be a mistake IMO; why not make as much $ as you can, especially if people are willing to buy the content? |
